            Softball Recap: Fallston Cougars vs. Joppatowne Mariners        
        
		
        
        
            Fallston got themselves on the board against Joppatowne on Monday, but Joppatowne never followed suit. They were the clear victors by  a  15-0 margin over the Mariners. The  victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Mariners: they've now won five in a row.
 Abby Marmen and  Peyton Greiner did most of the damage at the plate:  Marmen  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances, while  Greiner  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. Greiner also  hit a  double, marking her first of the season.  Mary Pfaff was another key player,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Fallston was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .400 or higher in three consecutive  games.
