Basketball Recap: Waukesha West Comes Up Short

Waukesha West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost to the Catholic Memorial Crusaders at home by a 54-37 margin. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Crusaders are ranked 45th).

Waukesha West's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Catholic Memorial, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waukesha West will venture away from home to challenge Waukesha North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Catholic Memorial, they will square off against Mukwonago at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
