Hunt waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Fike Golden Demons 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Hunt walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-22.

Leading Hunt to victory were Yoseline Sevilla and Greta Speight. Sevilla had four aces and three digs, while Speight had four digs. That's the most aces Sevilla has posted since back in October of 2024.

Hunt's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Fike, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Hunt didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Rocky Mount on the 13th. As for Fike, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Northern Nash on the 13th.
