Hoggard entered their tilt with Coastal Christian on Friday with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Centurions. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hoggard was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 19-25, 26-28, 25-8, 15-10.

Norah Davis paced Hoggard's offense, picking up 18 kills. Davis got some help from Reed Gosselink and her 19 assists.

Hoggard's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Coastal Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-10 record.

Looking ahead, Hoggard will square off against Topsail at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coastal Christian, they will face off against Wilmington Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
