Football Game Preview: Arbor View Aggies vs. Foothill Falcons

The Arbor View Aggies will take on the Foothill Falcons on Thursday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a seven-game winning streak alive.

Arbor View is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past Mojave with points to spare, taking the game 30-12.

Arbor View found their leader in freshman Priscilla Garcia, who threw for 118 yards and four touchdowns.

Arbor View was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 276 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Arbor View's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Kaylinn Foss was especially locked on to Mojave's QB and sacked her twice. Arbor View got some further help from Karah Foss: she made seven total tackles (2.0 for loss) and snagged an interception which she returned for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Foothill faced Coronado in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Foothill came out on top against Coronado by a score of 26-14. 26 seems to be a good number for the Falcons as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Arbor View's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-8. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35 points. As for Foothill, their record is now 13-5.

Arbor View beat Foothill 14-7 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Does Arbor View have another victory up their sleeve, or will Foothill turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
