Basketball Recap: St. Timothy's Comes Up Short on the Road Against St. Frances Academy + How To Watch

St. Timothy kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the St. Frances Academy Panthers 65-36. The defeat continues a trend for St. Timothy's in their meetings with St. Frances Academy: they've now lost six in a row.

St. Timothy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Courtney Kagundu, who posted seven points and six boards, and Kada Koger, who put up four points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks.

St. Frances Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mone'T Edwards, who scored 16 points and five assists. Dahni Suggs was another key player, dropping a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds.

The victory was the third in a row for St. Frances Academy, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, St. Timothy's won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pallotti at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. St. Timothy's will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for St. Frances Academy, they will take on Bishop McNamara at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
