Thomas Jefferson had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Henrico Warriors on Friday as the Thomas Jefferson Vikings made off with a 3-0 victory. The score was close at the half, but the Vikings pulled away in the second half with two goals.

They hit Henrico with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Faris Martinez-Lewis, Senegal Methena, and Benjamin Ralston.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thomas Jefferson will venture away from home to challenge West Point at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Henrico will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hanover at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th.
