Basketball Recap: Wilson Academy Takes a Loss

Wilson Academy played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Hamilton Heights Christian Academy Hawks and fell 89-61. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (57), Wilson Academy still had to take the loss.

Leading Hamilton Heights Christian Academy to victory were Bj Bradford and Jarron Talley. Bradford went 11-for-20 on his way to 28 points and three steals, while Talley shot 54% from the field en route to 16 points and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Valliance Luketa, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 11 points.

Wilson Academy now has a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Wilson Academy will square off against Balboa at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. As for Hamilton Heights Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 82-74 win against Boyd-Buchanan on the 20th.
