Recap: Millington Central Trojans vs. Bolton Wildcats
The Millington Central Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Bolton at home to the tune of 81-50. The result was nothing new for Millington Central, who have now won four games by 22 points or more so far this season.
Millington Central was led to victory by Kyla Taylor and Alana Whiten. Taylor scored 22 points, while Whiten scored 24 points. That's the first time this season that Taylor scored 15 or more points. Arianna Whiten was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Millington Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Bolton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
Millington Central will be home for the holidays to greet Jackson Central Merry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bolton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Benedict at Auburndale at 6:00 a.m. on January 5, 2024.
