It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Roncalli Catholic ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past the Bellevue East Chieftains 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Roncalli Catholic sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Sebastian Camio and Will Preston scored both of Roncalli Catholic's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Roncalli Catholic pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five games. As for Bellevue East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Roncalli Catholic is set to take on their familiar foe Mount Michael Benedictine at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bellevue East will square off against rival Omaha South at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
