Upper Cape Cod RVT came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the South Shore Vo-Tech Vikings a 5-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

Upper Cape Cod RVT's win bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for South Shore Vo-Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
