Basketball Recap: Tabernacle Takes a Loss

Tabernacle's tournament run continued when they took on Maryville Christian on Saturday. The contest between the Torches and the Eagles didn't end well, with the Torches falling 66-51.

Tabernacle's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Maryville Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Tabernacle will take on Brooklane Baptist in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maryville Christian and Knoxville Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
