Basketball Recap: Ansley Moore's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Harriman over Monterey + How To Watch

Harriman suffered their closest defeat since January 17th on Friday. They fell just short of the Monterey Wildcats by a score of 46-43. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 74-61.

Harriman lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ansley Moore, who went 9-for-14 en route to 23 points and seven rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game. Another player making a difference was Peyton Graham, who posted 13 points and six boards.

This is the second loss in a row for Harriman and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Monterey, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Harriman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-56 loss against Boyd Christian on the 29th. As for Monterey, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-29 defeat against Watertown on the 1st.
