Volleyball Recap: Central Falls to Academy for Classical Education in First Game of Season

Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Central may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 12 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Rutland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Academy for Classical Education, they will square off against Jones County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
