Crestview had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bluffton Pirates with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Crestview never let Bluffton on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-22.

Kaci Gregory paced Crestview's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gregory got some help from Emily Lichtle and her 19 assists. Lichtle was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Crestview's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Bluffton, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-6.

Crestview has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Ottawa-Glandorf on the 27th. As for Bluffton, they will challenge Patrick Henry at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
