Football Recap: KIPP Cooper Norcross Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, KIPP Cooper Norcross finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They were dealt a 42-6 loss at the hands of the Ewing Blue Devils. The matchup marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Special teams was responsible for all of the team's points. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Michael Morton Jr, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

The defeat snapped KIPP Cooper Norcross' winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record. As for Ewing, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, KIPP Cooper Norcross will square off against Wildwood on Friday. As for Ewing, they will challenge Allentown at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils will be up against the Redbirds' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.83 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
