Lewiston's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the Columbia Wildcats 20-8. With that win, the Bengals brought their scoring average up to 7 runs per game.

Jaxon Holthaus looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits.

On the hitting side, Lewiston got a massive performance out of Tucker Green, who scored four runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits Green has posted since back in April of 2024. River Stamper also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Lewiston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .378. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Lewiston's record is now 6-2. As for Columbia, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Lewiston wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Skyview on the 22nd. As for Columbia, they have also already played their next game, a 5-4 victory against Nampa on the 25th.
