Volleyball Recap: Shiner Comes Up Short

Shiner lost against Columbus back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Comanches fell 2-0 to the Cardinals.

Shiner's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Columbus, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Shiner will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rice Consolidated at 4:30 p.m. on September 5. As for Columbus, they will take on St. Joseph in a tournament on Saturday.
