Basketball Game Preview: Skyline Titans vs. Fremont Tigers

The Skyline Titans will head out on the road to take on the Fremont Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Skyline is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Wednesday, Skyline had to suffer through a 66-33 loss at the hands of Oakland Tech. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 955th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 46th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Fremont faced off against Oakland on Wednesday. The match between Fremont and Oakland didn't end well, with Fremont falling 54-40. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Skyline, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.

Skyline lost to Fremont on the road by a decisive 71-53 margin in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Skyline avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
