Tigerton proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by six) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Northland Lutheran Wildcats 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won eight in a row.

Tigerton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Erdmann, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Erdmann has hit this season.

Tigerton's record is now 9-2. As for Northland Lutheran, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Tigerton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northland Lutheran, they will venture away from home to face off against Rib Lake at 4:30 p.m. on the 26th.
