The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Lafayette Central Catholic and bumps their season record up to 10-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Rensselaer Central, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
