After flying high against Holt last Tuesday, Northside came back down to earth. The Northside Rams fell just short of the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights by a score of 50-47 on Friday. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Northside will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fayette County at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Fayette County will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Northside surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Notre Dame Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
