Plainwell proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by seven) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vicksburg Bulldogs, sneaking past 2-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Plainwell's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 155th, while Vicksburg are ranked 335th).

Plainwell now has a winning record of 4-3-2. As for Vicksburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-7-1.

Plainwell didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Marshall on the 4th. As for Vicksburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against South Haven on the 6th.
