Franklin posted their closest win since October 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Caldwell Hornets, sneaking past 3-2. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Caldwell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Franklin will take on Centennial in a tournament on Friday. As for Caldwell, they will be taking part in a tournament against Huntsville at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
