Excelsior Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of the Winnetonka Griffins by a score of 3-2. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Griffins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September.
Excelsior Springs actually scored more points across those five sets (105-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 17-25, 26-24, 25-20, 15-11.
