Basketball Recap: University Takes a Loss

University lost against Pontiac back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The University Eagles fell to the Pontiac Phoenix 55-50. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

University's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Pontiac, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, University is taking a road trip to take on Rose Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pontiac, they will take on Royal Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Royal Oak will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Pontiac surely won't give up without a fight.
