Football Recap: Andrews Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Andrews kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 26-0 to the Madison Patriots. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Triston Massey was nothing short of spectacular for Madison: he rushed for 121 yards and two TDs on only 11 carries. Massey's longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Madison also got a significant boost from Ivan Leonard, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 123 yards.

Looking ahead, Andrews will venture away from home to challenge Smoky Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison, they will welcome East Henderson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
