Basketball Game Preview: Cottage Grove Lions vs. Molalla Indians

The Cottage Grove Lions will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Molalla Indians at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Cottage Grove strolled past Brookings-Harbor with points to spare, taking the game 52-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Meanwhile, Molalla posted their biggest victory since February 13th on Thursday. They put the hurt on Sweet Home with a sharp 48-23 win.

Cottage Grove's record is now 5-2. As for Molalla, their record now sits at 4-2.

Cottage Grove came up short against Molalla in their previous matchup on December 4th, falling 44-32. Can Cottage Grove avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
