After flying high against Pueblo last Tuesday, Mountain View came back down to earth. The Mountain Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Willow Canyon Wildcats on Wednesday. The Mountain Lions' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

While Willow Canyon got the win, Mountain View sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-20, 20-25, 28-26.

Despite the loss, Mountain View still got an impressive performance from Brady Mau, who had 11 digs.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Willow Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.

Mountain View has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Flowing Wells on the 3rd. As for Willow Canyon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Kellis on the 3rd.
