Outlook: Most of Armwood's top defensive players from a year ago return for this fall. Last year, the unit gave up 20 or more points only three times. With experience on offense as well, the Hawks could be improved in nearly all facets of the game. The perception among those in the program is that it did better last year (14-1) than perhaps it expected. This season, expectations are higher. Expect the Hawks back in the Class 6A title game.
