Soccer Game Preview: Science Hill vs. Dobyns-Bennett

Science Hill is 2-8 against Dobyns-Bennett since May of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers will square off against the Indians at 6:00 p.m.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Science Hill's offense. They came up short against Hendersonville on Saturday, falling 4-0. Science Hill have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Dobyns-Bennett's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past Morristown-Hamblen East 3-2. Dobyns-Bennett haven't had any issues with Morristown-Hamblen East recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Gavin Farmer and Andy Salas scored all three of Dobyns-Bennett's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Dobyns-Bennett's victory bumped their record up to 6-1-2. As for Science Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2.
