Baseball Game Preview: Smith Vo-Tech Vikings vs. Putnam Vo-Tech Beavers

Smith Vo-Tech has gone a perfect 10-0 against Putnam Vo-Tech recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vikings will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Beavers at 4:00 p.m. Smith Vo-Tech is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Smith Vo-Tech's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Commerce. Fans of the Vikings have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

James Lavallee made a splash no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Lavallee was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Putnam Vo-Tech dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Smith Vo-Tech, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
