Kylie Babich and Brooke Grathwohl secure win for Christian Fellowship

Recap: Christian Fellowship vs. North County Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calvary Lutheran, Christian Fellowship were happy to have found some success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 47-29 win over North County Christian. That's another feather in the cap for Christian Fellowship, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Leading Christian Fellowship to victory were Kylie Babich and Brooke Grathwohl. Babich dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Grathwohl dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Grathwohl is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Ariya Barton was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds and eight assists.

Despite the loss, North County Christian saw an underclassman step up: Zoey Zamarripa scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Zamarripa has scored all season.

Christian Fellowship has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for North County Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Christian Fellowship and Columbia Independent will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Christian Fellowship is facing Columbia Independent at the right time seeing as Columbia Independent is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for North County Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lighthouse Prep Academy at 11:00 a.m. on February 3rd. Lighthouse Prep Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something North County Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
