Volleyball Game Preview: San Luis Sidewinders vs. Cibola Raiders + Official Tickets

San Luis is on an eight-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Cibola a six-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The San Luis Sidewinders will take on the Cibola Raiders at 6:00 p.m. San Luis will be strutting in after a win while Cibola will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, San Luis beat Somerton 3-1.

Meanwhile, Cibola lost 3-0 to Imperial on Wednesday.

Cibola was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-23.

San Luis' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Cibola, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

San Luis came up short against Cibola when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Sidewinders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
