Baseball Recap: Standing Bear Grizzlies vs. Bellevue East Chieftains
Standing Bear's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Bellevue East Chieftains. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Grizzlies also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.
Mason Hiatt looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
