Argonia is on a four-game streak of home losses, Sedan a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Argonia Red Raiders will take on the Sedan Devils at 7:30 a.m. on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Saturday, Argonia came up short against Caldwell and fell 53-40.
Argonia's loss came about despite a quality game from Dalton Morrison, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Filippo Leonardi was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Meanwhile, Sedan pushed their score all the way to 57 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central.
Argonia has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Sedan, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
Things could have been worse for Argonia, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 48-29 loss to Sedan in their previous meeting back in January of 2023.
