Trey Peroutka put up the most strikeouts he's had since May 5th on Friday. He struck out seven batters over 7.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Even though Peroutka couldn't lead St. Dominic over Rockwood Summit, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders haven't beaten the Falcons recently, having gone 0-3 since April of 2019.
