Softball Game Preview: Sand Creek Aggies vs. Madison Trojans

The Sand Creek Aggies will face off against the Madison Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Sand Creek had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Blissfield on Thursday. The Aggies were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Royals. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Aggies' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madison). They never let Hillsdale get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Trojans with their most commanding win of the season.

The team relied heavily on Mya Solis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jazlyn Zaszczurynski, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Madison's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Sand Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
