Iowa fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Stanley on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 13-10 to the Panthers. The Yellowjackets' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Andie Huval led a balanced group of hitters, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Alivia Singletary, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Iowa's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Stanley, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.

Iowa wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-6 defeat against Live Oak on the 22nd. As for Stanley, they have also already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Jennings on the 22nd.
