Softball Game Preview: Fairlawn Jets vs. Jackson Center Tigers

The Fairlawn Jets will face off against the Jackson Center Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fairlawn has given up an average of 10.9 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fairlawn came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Fort Loramie, falling 12-2. The Jets haven't had much luck with the Redskins recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Fairlawn saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amara Dewberry, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Jackson Center beat Troy Christian 9-6 on Friday.

The win got Jackson Center back to even at 6-6. As for Fairlawn, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.

Fairlawn might still be hurting after the 15-4 loss they got from Jackson Center in their previous meeting back in April. Can the Jets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
