Football Recap: Mcnary Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

McNary unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. The match between the Celtics and the Redmond Panthers didn't end well, with the Celtics falling 28-12. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Redmond to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyler Miner, who threw for 251 yards and two TDs. Kameron Losoya helped Miner out on the ground, rushing for 55 yards and a pair of scores.

Looking ahead, McNary will be playing at home against Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Redmond, they will venture away from home to take on Cascade at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
