It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Liberty had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the Hamilton Huskies 56-24. Considering the Lions have won nine games by more than 21 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Liberty was led to victory by Hayden Fletcher and Dominic Lombardo. Fletcher threw for 235 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.5% of his passes, while Lombardo rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Lombardo has posted since back in August. 82 of Fletcher's passing yards were hauled in by Braxton Huynh, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Despite the loss, Hamilton still got an impressive performance from Rich Lucero Jr., who threw for 246 yards and a touchdown, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground.

The win (which was Liberty's eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.8 points per game. As for Hamilton, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 10-2 record.

Liberty will challenge Basha at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Basha has won seven straight at home, while Liberty won seven straight on the road dating back to last season), something that'll have to change. Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
