Jake Robbins put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Tuesday. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

Robbins' effort led Clairemont over San Diego and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
