Baseball Recap: Four Straight Road Victories for Jefferson

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Jefferson ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Wheeling Park Patriots 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won three in a row.

Andrew Engle spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits.

At the plate, Jefferson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nayan Dominguez, who went 1-for-2 with one run.
