Basketball Recap: Marie Philip Skates Past Waring with Ease

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Marie Philip walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Waring 65-38. The Galloping Ghosts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Xavier DeLeon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 12 for 25 to rack up 28 points in addition to 17 rebounds and 11 assists. He has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 53 times he's played. Andrew Riebe was another key player, putting up ten points along with five boards and five steals.

Marie Philip's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Waring, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
