First Baptist put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Lucas Christian Academy Warriors as they made off with a 16-1 win. Fans of the Saints have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Allison Munnerlyn was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, Kimberly Gutierrez was a standout: she scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Meredith Quinn was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

First Baptist always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .680. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

First Baptist pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lucas Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-3.

First Baptist wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 19-0 win against Texoma Christian on the 8th. Lucas Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
