Basketball Game Preview: Winter Springs Bears vs. Atlantic Sharks

The Winter Springs Bears are taking a road trip to take on the Atlantic Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Winter Springs is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.9 points per game this season.

Winter Springs is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Seminole just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Wednesday. The matchup between them and the Seminoles didn't end well, with Winter Springs falling 63-49.

Winter Springs' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of William Sanders, who posted 11 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals, and Jack Clark, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points. Another player making a difference was Lucas Chang, who had seven points.

Meanwhile, Atlantic entered their tilt with University on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Titans 63-30. The contest marked the Sharks' most dominant win of the season.

Atlantic pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Winter Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.
