Chiefland is a perfect 10-0 against Bronson since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Chiefland Indians will host the Bronson Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Chiefland's tournament run continued when they took on Union County on Saturday. Chiefland lost 9-2 to Union County.

Chiefland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Rain, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI. Alexis Cocke also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Bronson fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Williston on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered since February 18th.

Julianne Lampton spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Cordelia Lambe was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI and one double. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Tegan Barber, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Bronson's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Chiefland, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Everything went Chiefland's way against Bronson when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Chiefland made off with an 8-1 win. Does Chiefland have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bronson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
