Baseball Game Preview: Waukesha North Northstars vs. Brookfield East Spartans

The Waukesha North Northstars will face off against the Brookfield East Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Waukesha North will be strutting in after a victory while Brookfield East will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, Waukesha North sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over Watertown.

Meanwhile, Brookfield East fell victim to Hamilton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Waukesha North has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Brookfield East, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Waukesha North beat Brookfield East 8-4 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Northstars repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
