Basketball Game Preview: Kennebunk Rams vs. Bonny Eagle Scots

The Kennebunk Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Bonny Eagle Scots at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Thursday, Kennebunk was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 38-37 to Portland. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bonny Eagle, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Sanford by a score of 72-65 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Scots as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Bonny Eagle's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Kennebunk, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Kennebunk and Bonny Eagle were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January of 2019, but Kennebunk came up empty-handed after an 88-87 loss. Can Kennebunk avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
